What is the first book and the American Girl doll?

My 7 Year Old daughter wants to start to get in, but I want to start early and maybe the books will become a hobby for her. I can not get a response in the first book … I know that the first three dolls were Felicity, Molly and another person, but which came first?

My suggestion is that instead of seeking the first doll in the timeline, for a period of time, might be able to relate with or a character that could have similar characteristics. You can take a review of the website of the American Girl as "fun for girls. Questionnaire that can tell your daughter that is most like. Then you can go to a local library or library school and receive books for this doll. Later, if your daughter is a link with a character you can get her a doll.
